Heart training mission
Training Christ followers to grow in godliness through the power of God’s Word
Heart Training exists to help Christians abide in Christ, grow in grace, and live in faith.
For practicing Christians, the essence of our life is our relationship with God through Jesus. By the work of the Holy Spirit, our thoughts, words, and deeds should be formed by God’s truths, viewed through his lens, and shaped by our gratitude for his salvation. Exercising our faith entails strengthening it and putting it into practice.
As we grow in the knowledge of God and his will, we learn more about who God is, who we are in him, and who he calls us to be for his glory. God’s Word allows us to do this. “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work” (1 Timothy 3:16-17 NIV). Memorizing Bible verses allows them to take hold in our mind and heart. The Holy Spirit brings God’s truths to mind when we need them, allowing us to trust God and live in his will.
The Heart Training resources facilitate this through:

Workbooks
Daily Bible studies with weekly memory verses encourage spiritual growth. Throughout 26 weeks, verses and their themes are studied, memorized, applied, and prayed, with God’s character highlighted.

Journal
The BRAN study method promotes deeper Bible reading and learning. One chapter in the Bible is read for five consecutive days and meditated on using various prompts.

Courses
Around the World unit studies help homeschool families weave together Bible study, geography, social studies, reading, and language arts. Students use the related Heart Training workbook, read the book God’s Smuggler, and study one country each week, specifically from the World Watch List.

Groups
The straightforward Heart Training workbooks and BRAN work well for small groups by fostering unity and accountability within the body of believers. Members come prepared in heart and mind to discuss, learn, and pray.
heart training vision
Hiding God’s Word in the hearts of believers and placing God’s Word in the hands of the persecuted
One way to serve the family of God is through ministry to persecuted Christians. Heart Training encourages this by donating Bibles to and praying for the recipients.
In countries hostile to Christians, many believers long to have their own copy of the Bible to read, despite the risks of persecution they face. How they suffer in the name of Jesus is a model of hope, zeal, and steadfastness that can inspire us to know, obey, and share God’s truths.
As members of God’s family, we are to pray for and encourage one another. To that end, each purchase of a Heart Training workbook provides a Bible to a persecuted believer who has requested one. This believer is prayed for through the duration of a Heart Training Bible study. To date, partnering with Voice of the Martyrs and Heaven’s Family, Heart Training has put God’s Word in the hands of the persecuted in Nigeria, China, and Iran.
To encourage the spiritual growth of believers who are in prison, Heart Training has donated copies of Keep on Track through the ministry of Prison Fellowship.
